About - Mark K. Ryan
Grew up just outside Boston, MA . Lived in a three
decker blue collar neighborhood during the 1940-50s and went to public school. Family,
church, school and scouts played a big role in my growing up. Joined explorer
scouts as young teen and learned a lot about life outdoors. Love fishing,
camping, & boating. Hobbies included scuba and airplane pilot, photography,
music, piano, painting and writing. Went to Maine Maritime Academy, received
degrees from Suffolk (AB) and WPI (MNS). Science Teacher and Department
Director (40 years) at Medford Public Schools. Retired 2003. Currently a
writer and author with self published books and short stories in mystery
fiction available in print on Lulu.com and Kindle.com.
